Since 2007, the Brazos Valley Bombers have showcased baseball players in the Texas Collegiate League, which plays during the summer. The Bombers have become a staple of the community, providing affordable, family-friendly fun.

Steve joined the Bombers in 2017 as its emcee for on-field games. Between half-innings, kids and adults are welcomed onto the field to compete and entertain the fans. In 2017, the Bombers captured their fifth straight TCL championship. They won the league title again in 2019.

Steve also served as the emcee for the Brazos Valley Cavalry FC soccer team, which debuted in the Premier Development League in 2017. It's affiliated with Major League Soccer's Houston Dynamo. Owned by the same group as the Bombers, the Cavalry provide a proving ground for athletes looking to compete in MLS.
