In 2017, Lions Pride Sports became the first major professional wrestling outlet based in the Brazos Valley. Launched by former wrestler Houston Carson, the organization brings athletes from across the state and country, including many who have performed on national television in the U.S. and around the world for organizations like the WWE and New Japan.

Steve has provided play-by-play for the promotion on its match videos since the second show in January 2018. During events, he serves as an emcee. He also edits the matches and creates additional content on social media.
